Abstract
The Monte Carlo simulation technique is employed to model the transient behavior of bacterial adhesion onto substrate surface. As compared with the previously derived stochastic models, the present approach provides an easier way to describe the characteristics of a phenomenon which has a random nature. The applicability of the present method is justified through simulation results. © 1987 Academic Press Inc. (London) Ltd All rights reserved.
