Abstract
The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Taiwan recently kicks off a national research program on 6G wireless. Aiming at the future technical needs of Taiwan's telecommunications industry, the research program will develop breakthrough technologies, introduce collaboration with domestic manufacturers, fill up critical technological gaps, and assist the future development of the telecommunications industry. The goal is to integrate academic research closely with industrial RD. The research program will explore the 6G roadmap for Taiwan's telecommunications industry. Additionally, we encourage research cooperation with international research teams and cultivate telecommunications talents. At the same time, project participants could collaborate with companies and research institutes to jointly participate in international standards and expand the impact of 6G advancement. ? 2021 IEEE.
