Abstract
This thesis presents the design of a compact-size Wilkinson power divider by using composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) which is composed of lump elements and microstrip lines. The phase of the CRLH TL is achieved to fulfill the required frequency response of Wilkinson power divider. A linear amplifier is designed by using NE32684 transistor. Finally, a 2.1GHz Wilkinson power-combined linear amplifier is implemented by integrating two Wilkinson power dividers using CRLH TL and two linear amplifiers. Basic theory, design, simulation, implementation and measurement results are described.
