Abstract
The partial desorption of lysozyme or ribonuclease (RNase) from nickel powder was attained by pH switch and ion addition, and was found to decrease with adsorption time. Desorption by dilution was found to be insignificant. In the simultaneous competitive adsorption of these two proteins, selective adsorption could be achieved by controlling the pH. As for sequential adsorption, RNase-covered Ni can further adsorb lysozyme, but RNase removed lysozyme from lysozyme-Ni. © 1995.
