Abstract
A class of correlative codes is proposed to significantly
improve the spectral performance of the rectangularly
pulsed orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signal
with or without cyclic prefix or zero padding. It is analytically
shown that the correlatively coded OFDM signal can achieve
very high spectral efficiency while yielding an extremely small
fractional out-of-band power.
