Abstract
This thesis is about to study the competitive advantage in Taiwan’s PC/CE(Personal Computer and Consumer Electronic) manufacturing industry and individual manufacturer success growth on past (As-Is) 10 years (1998~2007),and strategy while encounter finance tsunami on 2008~2009, and the future strategy for the competitive advantage on coming (To-Be) 10 years (2010~2020).or the past,the PC/CE manufacturing industrial have three core competence which are ODM expertise、flexibility and cluster efforts,the manufacturer have three core competence too; which are time to market、time to volume and time to end-user,these core competences with innovated CTO/DS (Configure To Order/Direct Ship) business model made Taiwan’s manufacturing industry success and brilliant in the leading edge globally!or the next 10 years,this thesis study on the manufacturing industry and individual ODM – Quanta the ways to recognize and strategic approaching to avoid the bullwhip efforts in finance tsunami by organization integrated and processes optimizated to get more competitive advantage.he latest global logistics and supply chain management are combination of ODM and sales supply chin in which call 『service chain』,this thesis is comparisons study on Acer、Dell and HP,the strategy、global logistics、SCM、CPFR and business model , the objective is to extent the Taiwan’s glories of manufacturing to support PC/CE brand name sales & service business globally.
