Abstract
This article investigates the information
needs of elementary school students from
both Mandarin Experiment Primary School
(in Taipei City) and Peishin Elementary
School (in Taipei County). Subjects are 24
students and 12 teachers from the above
schools. In-depth interview is used as the
primary research method. This article
identifies 10 types of information needs and 2
major types of reading interests of elementary
school students.
