Abstract
This project is supposed to study the local
customs and folk legends of Taiwan
extensivelyively.It has researched ancient
literature works and present investigation in
first step. Then it is tried to find some
questions and suggest some approaches to
set up the study model of the folk
legends.There are three topics to be
discussed: (1) the space conciousness and
forms (2) the influent circles and tpyes (3)
the open— close cooperation between the
figures’ legends and regionalism of Taiwan
local legends.Finally it hopes to point out
the universality and characteristic of Taiwan
local legends.
