Abstract
The content of the first-year main
project includes three sub-programs :
Subsidiary project(1) : In order to
simulate the behavior of the bugs. We
observe and collect the hebaviors of the
bugs. We design the driver of the bug’s foot.
Then, we want to design the brain module
and the communictation module. In order to
design a robot bug to exactly mimic the
beavior and property of a real bug.
Subsidiary project (2) : This
sub-program’s topic is to try to study the
competetion and reaction between the group
being (ex. ant or bee ) and information
exchange rule. Then, use this mothodology
to develop a dynamic algorithm for communication.
Subsidiary project (3) : Project 3 is
focused on studying the bio-mimetic robot
responding to the design module to achieve
the anticipated goal under the finite senor
capacity. There are two objectives in the
project: construction of odor distribution
environment and odor tracking algorithm
which is used to determine the position of
odor source.
