Abstract
Because of the improvement of computer technology, the development of computational fluid dynamics is rapid. The main purpose of the thesis is to develop the code based on unstructured spectral element method that can solve two-dimensional/three-dimensional incompressible flows. The thesis uses some exact solution to validate accuracy of the code. Finally, the thesis uses some references and data of experiment to validate the code is reliable if we use it to simulate the physical problems. The thesis simulates stationary and oscillatory cylinder flows in two-dimension. The thesis simulates the flow of double acting synthetic jet in three-dimension.
