Abstract
Modern game software consists of many areas of functionality, of which the graphics system plays the most important role and has to cooperate with other areas heavily. Besides programming, making a game today has to produce a lot of game contents, and most of contents are graphics related. As game production is getting more complicated, with our practical experiences we propose an object-oriented design and implementation of a graphics engine that is easy to use and extend. Also we offer tools for our engine to build up a smooth graphics contents pipeline suitable for small production teams. As a result, we make production of graphics contents in games more effective, so we can make better games at the same cost.
