Abstract
The objective of study is to investigate valve-less micropump by CFD software Fluent.Simulating valve-less micropump has to use moving boundary condition, so the mesh has to use the dynamic mesh system.This text will prove the feasibility of dynamic mesh,and find out simplified boundary condition for avoiding the complicated dynamic mesh system.This article supposes that the importing and exporting velocity will be changed of trigonometric function sine with time, and then derives out integral formula of the flow rate per period.The integral formula can be simplified to diffuser efficiency formula by getting efficiency of diffuser .This article will prove the accuracy of diffuser efficiency formula in different Reynolds number, and compare the efficiency of diffuser for different Reynolds nurmber and diffuser angles in trainsient and steady process.This investigation will be very helpful for the design of micropump system.
