Abstract
In the 21 century industrial development, one of the most critical challenges is how to migrate from traditional manufacturing into high-tech manufacturing industry. For those pioneers in high-tech production, most of them rely upon the introduction of new technology into production, new manufacturing programs, or improved management technique. However, in German, they set up Industry 4.0 vision after the 4th industrial revolutions. They offer a promising direction to the challenges in the new century. They are using factory for human plus machine, into the intelligent automated factory, even more evolved into cloud plus intelligence and unmanned high-tech manufactory. Based on a case study on a precision metal manufacturing factory, F company, concerning their evolution from traditional manually operated CNC machines, into intelligent automated factory, we made research effort on how they faced with the opportunities and challenges in processes. With this research, we hope to find out how to promote the ideological and the methods into Industry 4.0, and contribute to the intelligent world with society for all industry.
