In this thesis, magnetic properties of five (Ga,Mn)As samples are studied from SQUID measurements. The clear and square hysteresis indicates that ferromagnetic order exists in these layers. Temperature dependence of magnetization shows that the transition temperature Tc is increasing with higher Mn concentration. The results of magneto-transport properties show that these ferromagnetic samples reside close to the metal-insulator transition boundary, and the anomalous Hall effect is dominant. Besides, the infrared and far infrared transmission and reflectance spectrum have been measured between 0 and 13000 cm-1 at room temperature using FTIR. A broad absorption peak around 1700 cm-1 is observed and regarded as the impurity-related absorption. This peak moves to higher frequency with
increasing Mn composition.
