Abstract
Currently, steel structure (or space structure) is the sun-rising industry. The technologic level of space structure is an important measuring standard of one nation’s building industry, and a representation of one country’s comprehensive strength. For over one decade, China has built many high standard & specifications public buildings, like stadiums (e.x. Olympic Sports Center Stadium, China National Stadium and Water Cube), airport terminals (e.x. Beijing Capital International airport and Pudong International Airport), high-speed train stations (ex. Train stations along Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Rail Line), which all help Chinese space structure industry to become mature and gain experience. Meanwhile, social and technologic development and peoples’ improving living standard brings higher requirements for steel structure companies. With the development of building industry, the competition among steel structure companies is becoming fiercer. Once there is major error on company strategies developing, it will result in serious outcomes for companies, which will be phased out from the market. Developing and executing company strategies is an important and complicated task. This thesis takes Ever Good Steel Structure Group as an example, combining its steel structure longer-term development and the company current situation & outlook, starting from its structure optimization, transformation, upgrade and innovation, with the application of survey, qualitative & quantitative analysis, empirical approach, to consider and do the research on strategy how to achieve the sustainable development for steel structure companies, in the end to make the company a strong, excellent and long-living one.
