Abstract
Time transfer using GPS carrier phase measurements based on dual-frequency multi-channel common-view techniques is presented. By using the ionosphere-free combination of the carrier phase and performing the single-difference, we can obtain the relationship between two hydrogen-maser clocks. Moreover, combining the sub-nanosecond results of the multi-channel common-view based on dual-frequency code observations with the single-difference calculations, we resolve the ambiguity of the single-difference equation for time transfer. The short-baseline tests with common hydrogen-maser clock show that our methodology has a frequency stability of a few parts in 10/sup 16/ for averaging times of one day.
