Abstract
〈The Cognitive scheme of Lao Tzu〉try to find the attitude of cognition of Lao Tzu.
And cognitive psychology brings up the “cognitive scheme”that helps solving the
problem. Because of the close connection between language and cognition, we can
start the research by the special way of writing of Lao Tzu. So the "straight forward

words seem backwards" mode of expression expressed strongly the cognitive scheme.
Furthermore, the way of writing and speaking of Wang Bi also helps us observing the
cognitive scheme of Lao Tzu becauseWang Bi is a man who affected by Lao Tzu
deeply. Thus, from the practical way of using language to the cognitive scheme, we
developed a totally new view of the research of the classics.
