Abstract
The purpose of this conference is to offer a forum of research methodologies in
accounting. Specifically, the accounting research methodology is divided into three
approaches- empirical studies, analytical research and experimental research.
Outstanding researchers in financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing and
behavior accounting are invited to deliver speeches in related area with appropriate
methodology. The program also designs a group discussion session led by speakers to
offer critical comments on the working papers submitted by the participants. In total,
about 100 participants, both accounting faculties and doctoral students, attended this
conference. Overall, the participants are very much satisfied with the contents offered
and wish to have similar event held on a yearly basis in the near future.
