Abstract
In this thesis, we propose novel lump-distributed coupled-line bandpass filters. At first, we realize second-order bandpass filters by open and short-end couled-microstriplines. The proposed filter features circuit size half the conventional ones, and exhibits no repeated passband at second harmonic frequency. In addition, by introducing the cross-coupling effect, two transmission zeros at upper and lower stopbands may be realized. Then, we use additional lumped–elements to realize the J- or K-inverters in the conventional fourth-order parallel coupled-line bandpass filters.
