Abstract
Two examples are discussed where higher order processes dominate over lower order ones for dynamical reasons, as opposed to the usual condition of the existence of several expansion parameters. For QCD induced charmless B decays, b→sqq dominates over b→sg due to the existence of two induced flavour changing couplings. In the b′ system, the "O (G4F)", three-body decay process b′→bZ* dominates over the "O(αsGF2)", two-body process because of different behavior under GIM cancellation, and because b′, if it exists, is not much lighter than Mz. Confirmation or discovery of these phenomena will serve as tantalizing evidence for the inner workings of the standard model. © 1990.
