Abstract
The cationic copoly(styrene- butyl acrylate) latexes were synthesized by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. Utilizing copolymer particles as seeds, the polyaniline was synthesized in situ and coated onto the surface of particles. Thus, the conductive polyaniline–coated poly(styrene- butyl acrylate) core-shell latexes were synthesized. The morphology of core-shell latex particles were observed by SEM, TEM, and the thermal analysis were studied by the TGA and DSC. Their were made by casting and heating the latex particles above the glass transition temperature of copolymer.
This research shows that influenced of electric conduction about to wrap up of polyaniline and mobility of copolymer. Finally, when the organic acid-redoped conductive film , the conductivity degradation、thermal stability and conductive mechanism was studied.
