Abstract
In recent years, '' hand-touch economy '' attracts more and more attention with the trend of the experience economy, and it deeply relates to a new consumption phenomenon among the young generation- '' fashion market '' where designers face consumers directly and provide their hand-made products.he researcher participated in '' Guling Street Market '' from 2005, played multiple roles as an organizer, a friend of the vendor. The researcher also had been a consumer in many different other fashion markets and witnessed the whole development process of Taiwan’s fashion market. Therefore the researcher decided to start a research on this topic. The goal of this research is to understand the process of the development and the participants of the fashion markets in Taiwan, and to analyze the hand-touch economy development within it.he researcher takes qualitative approach in this study, applying in-depth interview method to interview 2 organizers and 14 designers involved in the Fashion Markets. In addition, the researcher gathers data about consumer cognition by questionnaires. fter the analysis of all data collected, the conclusions of this study are as the following. First, the fashion market in Taiwan tends to be declining during these years. Second, the key function of fashion market is to be a platform for designers to present their product with characteristics which related to hand-touch economy.
