Abstract
Subjects adapt to environmental changes differently depending on the perceived frequency of the changes - the environmental volatility - similar to an ideal Bayesian learner. This volatility information correlates with the fMRI BOLD signal in the anterior cingulate cortex. © 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
