Abstract
A portable, high performance, and multifunction physiological signal monitor is presented. The authors use a digital signal processor (DSP) instead of a general microcontroller to make all data processing including filtering and compression real-time computing. By using a well-designed analog amplifier circuit and making the signal processing digital, this system is suitable for almost all frequently used EKG, EEG, and EMG signals.
