Abstract
Arising attention to environmental protection and sustainability issues has been paid by the society in recent years. Majority of people have favorable environmental attitudes but they are not translated into appropriate behavior.his thesis establish the iterative procedure for energy consumption analysis and energy saving in the simple environment. The procedure consists of four actions: data collecting, data aggregation, advices selection and advice execution. In each action of the procedure, information technologies are used to promote users'' translation. Moreover, users are able to check whether they have achieved the savings goal or not with direct, instant feedback. On the other hand, data collecting in the procedure enable us to establish a baseline energy consumption model which is valuable for consumption analysisr automation in the future. This thesis also present a case study in iAgent Lab whose consumption have been reduced to 72% after applying the procedure.
