Abstract
Functional field transformation in irregular waveguide structures having strong scatter was demonstrated. It was found that the resulting degrees of freedom and significant evanescent field content make the accomplishment of perfect transformation possible. A microwave experiment verified frequency-dependent transformation thereby suggesting the possibility of wavelength division multiplexing.
