Abstract
The most common white LED is phosphor converted. It uses a blue LED chip to excite yellow phosphors to create white light However, this type of white LED has poor angular CCT uniformity because of the structure of colloid or the light distribution of blue LED chip. It was reported to hurt our eyes for long-term work under illumination of such a white LED. Therefore, this paper will be focused on the discussion of phosphor converted white LED. Then, we will try to reduce the poor angular uniformity by adding scattering particles into the colloid. © 2015 SID.
