Abstract
In spite of its different modes of cognition, the primary cognitive structure of Chinese philosophy is the ”identity between subject and object, ”whereby the cognition is oriented toward intuitive understanding and experiential testament, while the primary trait of ”reasoning” is inference. The goal of the reasoning lies in personal practice and the realization of values; in terms of language, due to the characteristics of the Chinese language, it is impossible to represent variables with totally meaningless signs; and reasoning in Chinese philosophy is often connected with the context of thinking. Since the meaning of language can only be manifested in the structure of a context, the inner structure and functioning of the context of the thinking would be a focus in the study of Chinese logic.
