Abstract
Microstrip line and GCPW on BT (bismaleimide triazine) substrate are designed, fabricated and measured for 150 and 300 GHz bands. These two bands are allocated for future 6 G sub-THz band for high speed data communication. The measured loss of the proposed microstrip line and GCPW at the 150GHz band are 0.42 and 0.37 dB/mm, respectively. They show similar loss as compared with SIW on glass or ABF substrate. The measured loss of the proposed microstrip line and GCPW at the 300 GHz band are 0.95 and 0.89 dB/mm, respectively. Losses are larger than SIW on high-Z and GaAs substrate at 300GHz band.
