Abstract
Advanced technologies of digital
transmission, Internet application and
semiconductor manufacturing have aroused
the demand for broadband communication
service and broadband Internet. VoIP, Web
proxy, high quality real-time multimedia
services, etc. are going to become new trends
in the future. In consequence, a large
transmission capacity is required for
providing broadband services. The
transmission technology of xDSL is one of
the solutions to provide broadband services.
