Abstract
In the second year, we have proposed a joint carrier frequency offset and timing frequency
offset estimation algorithm for MC-CDMA system. The proposed algorithm is based on a
weighted least square method on the phases of pilot subcarriers. In addition, the architecture
design and detail fixed-point arithmetic simulation of the Mc -CDMA baseband receiver have
been completed. The designed circuit is being verified using FPGA emulation. The task of the
third year will be mainly on the IC design and fabrication of such -aC DMMCA baseband
receiver incorporating the aforementioned estimation algorithm and a novel frequency -domain
equalization scheme.
