Abstract
This project focuses on integrating the academic research achievements on
Nephrite Jade (Taiwan Jade) into a audio-visual presentation through professional
film making process.
This integration stretches across geology, archeology, history domains and is
intent on introducing diverse aspects of Taiwan Jade, such as geological origin, gem
stone preciousness, historical development, cultural innovation, art expression, eco-tourism
potential etc.. The Taiwan Jade film will be a wonderful medium to help
people to understand more about this national treasure and it would also be an
excellent show window to reveal all these fruitful research results to general public.
