Abstract
The absorption of SO2 bt sorbents prepared from iron blast furnace slag and hydrated lime has been studied with the aim to evaluate the feasibility desulfurization processes. The effects of sorbent preparation conditions, such as slag particle size, slag/hydrated lime wt. ratio, liwuide/solid wt. ratio, slurrying tempertature and slurrying time, on the reactivities of sorbents toward SO2 were investigated, and the optimal preparation conditions were identified.
