Abstract
The global shift towards competency-based medical education (CBME) has necessitated the introduction of effective implementation mechanisms, one of which is Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs). In light of these developments, the Taiwan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists has spearheaded a "trilogy" for implementing CBME training program to fortify contemporary faculty development. The trilogy encompasses three integral stages:1)Competency Progression Framework: formulating EPAs tailored specifically for medical radiation technologists 2)Competency-Oriented Teaching and Learning: accentuating the promotion of CBME-centric faculty training. 3)Systematic Competency Assessment: emphasizing the national propagation and execution of the CBME program. By advancing CBME, endorsing teaching predicated on immediate EPA observations, and instituting both a competency progression framework and a systematic assessment model for practicing radiographers, the Association aspires to enhance not only competency development but also the educational quality for medical radiation technologists within Taiwan.
