Abstract
Por table telemetry
system was used to evaluate walking
energy expenditure for children with
cerebral palsy before and after
botulinum toxin injection. For the 7
children without injection, the
walking parameters including speed,
stride length, cadence, oxygen
consumption and oxygen cost were
stationary among 3 consecutive tests
monthly. However, these parameters
did change among the 6 children who
underwent injections. The onset and
magnitude of changes were different
between subjects.
