Abstract
The magnetoresistance in magnetic multilayers with the nano-oxide layers was discussed. A modified Boltzmann transport equation with the appropriate boundary conditions in multilayers instead of solving the complicated coupled equations was also proposed. Results showed that the nano-oxide layer caused the decrement of the diffusive scattering effect and the increment of the reflective effect, and the magnetoresistance ratios varied with different positions of the nano-oxide layers.
