Abstract
Interference cancellation using a reference correlator for synchronous optical CDMA systems is investigated. We employ a padded modified prime sequence to achieve a 'unique' cross-correlation value of '1' among all signature sequences. This scheme requires only one reference correlator to effectively suppress the interfering signals.
