Abstract
The reclaimed water from domestic
wastewater treatment plant is very reliable
alternative water resource, because stable
quantity and lower pollution of reclaimed
water satisfy the requirement for many
applications. Based on this, the study
estimated the various wastewater reuse
technology for the requirement of
agricultural and landscape irrigation, streetclean, dual distribution system (toilet
flushing), industrial secondary use and
environmental uses. The treatment
technology of this study included sand
filtration, MF, ozone treatment, ozone/UV,
ozone/GAC. The results showed that sand
filtration or/ozone could fit the requirement
of above application of wastewater reuse. In
addition, this study also investigated the
environmental hormone compounds in the
effluent of the domestic wastewater
treatment plant. The results indicated that
the decomposition rates of the
environmental hormone compounds
(Bisphenol A, BPA;Nonylphenol, NP;
Octylphenol ethoxylate, OPEO) by ozone
treatment in the semi-batch reaction
followed pseudo-first order kinetics.
