Abstract
I have been training various martial arts for twenty years. Martial arts has been my passion and training became part of my life. Surely it gave me life enriching experience. I have been looking for the way to share my life enriching experience with other people who are interested in martial arts. I took this opportunity to survey general publics’ and current martial arts trainees’ consciousness, motivation, & consumption behavior to analyze sports industry market and to build successful business strategy for running martial arts gym in Taiwan.
This is a business plan based on two sets of questionnaires and several interviews of martial arts instructors who are running martial arts gym. Running martial arts school is not a new business. Therefore, by analyzing consumer behavior and competitors, I would like to run more effectively and excel competitors.
