本文整理與評論女性主義與後現代主義之論戰中，有關地理學和空間隱喻的課題。第一部份整理了數位女性地理學者對於女性主義與後現代主義之異同的發言，指出女性主義堅持改變性別不平等之現狀的政治立場，有條件地採用後現代主義的批判論點，並揭露後現代主義裡的性別盲目與壓迫。第二部份從後現代主義擅用的空間隱喻切入，討論這種空間隱喻裡所暗含的性別問題。最後，本文試圖在既有文獻的基礎上，針對女性主義之基進空間政治，提出幾個可以進一步發展的方向。
This article is a review of geographical and spatial issues in the debates between feminisms and postmodernisms. The first part of this article abstracts the opinions of several female geographers about the debate between feminisms and postmodernisms. They insist that the political goal of feminist theories is to overthrow the patriarchal social structure, while postmodern theories often reveal traces of gender inequality and gender blindness. In the second part, it will take the issue of spatial metaphors in postmodern theories, and discuss the gender and sexual implication of these metaphors. In the final part of this paper, it will propose four possible directions of feminist radical politics of space.
