Abstract
This article is part of the project—“Important Approaches and Tendency of Foreign Languages and Literatures.” Focusing on the Spanish journal Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos during the years 2001-2005, this article attempts to analyze the tendency or research topics, the theories and methodologies that the writers have used for their analysis and the edition policies. It is expected that a wider view can be gained for our further research in the future.
The journal Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos is chosen as an example for our research because it has a long history since 1948 and has been one of the most popular and widely spread academic journals.
Based on the topics, a total of 60 volumes of this journal have been classified into 12 categories in an attempt to explore new approaches on research topics and themes.
