Abstract
本研究收集並分析我國上市櫃公司年度財務報告獲得會計師建議調整分錄之資訊，以瞭解我國上市櫃公司自行編製財務報告時，無法符合一般公認會計原則常見之會計科目，並與其公司特性、公司治理機制等加以分析比較。本研究以國內某四大會計師事務所的上市櫃查核客戶為研究對象，收集民國95年至97年三年度該事務所對受查客戶所提出的調整分錄。本研究發現會計師對我國上市櫃公司所提出之調整分錄類型，相當集中，且多與期末評價有關。出現次數最多的前五名，分別為因長期股權投資損益、所得稅費用估列錯誤、存貨備抵評估、所得稅費用未估列、應收帳款評價等問題未符合一般公認會計原則之規定，且金額重大而被會計師提出調整分錄之建議。由此可見我國上市櫃公司在上述這五方面，自行編製財務報告的能力相對較弱。再者，會計師所提出的調整分錄大都對受查企業當年度的損益有不利影響，因而本研究認為會計師在抑制上市櫃公司美化財務報表方面，確實盡到其把關責任。
