Abstract
The thesis is about the study on left-handed transmission lines (LHTL). The right-handed response has been considered, and we will implement the composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) on two process called low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) and integrated passive device (IPD).irst, a vertical stacked unbalanced type CRLH TL is introduced which has frequency stop band. Second, we use a special tuning technique to generate a broadband balanced CRLH TL. Finally, we apply the design technique to realize a broadband quadrature power splitter (QPS) with 91.7% bandwidth, phase error in and ?0.3dB amplitude mismatch.
