Abstract
Optical measurement systems are widely used in the field of chemistry and medical appliances due to the advantage of non-invasive, high resolution, and high accuracy. In recent years, the applications of the optical measurement systems have increased because of the rapid development of laser sources, optical sensors and semiconductors,.
In this paper, a new application in the field of optical wave front measurements is proposed, which in the past were used to correct the aberration of telescopes, because of the Earth''s atmospheric disturbance. Using wave front sensor to quantify mist and transmit a given dose of the mist, which device is desperitily needed in medical applications.
The mist generating system consists of three parts, the mist generating system, micro-dose generating system and optical monitoring system. Use a given concentration dose, which is generated by micro-dose generating device, to quantify optical measurement standard. System completed gradually by process of theoretical analysis and physical design.
Overall system performance through theoretical analysis and finite element method simulations to explore design parameters for a given concentration affects the performance of micro-dose and find the optimal design parameters. Experimental tests focused on the stability of the micro-dose generating device and the transmission rate performance.
The mist micro-dose generator can generate, at the drive voltage 45 V, steady single dosage 0.05 mg. The optical monitoring device can measure the aberration caused by the disturbance of mist and calculate the mass flow trend.
