Abstract
To reduce the subjective and time-consuming visual inspection, this study acquired in-situ accelerations by utilizing accelerometers, microprocessor and NB-IoT, in which the obtained accelerations are converted into displacement based on the proposed reference-free displacement reconstruction method. The reconstructed displacement can be served as the preliminary safety indicator of infrastructures. The proposed reference-free displacement reconstruction is mainly accomplished by optimization. After verifying the accuracy through numerical and down scale experiments, the device implemented with the proposed algorithm are used to obtain the displacement information of the selected checked dam to collect the displacement and provide a reference for the management and maintenance of the government agency.
