Abstract
In this project we developed a procedure to
identify the equivalent mass, damping, and
stiffness matrices from the measured I/O data
using the subspace algorithm, and the vibration
behaviors of structures cab be improved by the
identified system matrices. To verify the
effectiveness of the subspace algorithm, a 2-
dimensional frame structure with 20 DOF is
provided to illustrate the identification process.
