Abstract
The electrochemical deposition and electron-beam lithography techniques were used for the fabrication of CdSe pillars in a specific shape and size. The intensities of micro-photoluminescence and Raman scattering showed an oscillatory behavior and was found to enhance at some particular diameters of CdSe pillars. Raman scattering and photoluminescence measurements were used to analyze the quality of the wurtzite crystal structure of the grown CdSe pillars. The results confirms the low cost character of this technique and also the potential application of cavity resonance in submicron scale devices.
