Abstract
The thesis was to study the structure of titania/polyaniline hybrid structure by using in-situ polymerization. Different from the traditional physical blends, the structure was titania being wrapped by polyaniline to form the core-shell particles. The condition of wraps and element analysis were checked by TEM and EDS. The surface condition and the conductivity of the film were observed by SEM. We added the Poly(vinyl alcohol) to prevent from the surface crack of titania/polyaniline. he crystal structure of titania/polyaniline was showed by XRD. The effect of polyaniline after adding the titania was understood by UV and FTIR. The improvement of weight-loss temperature after adding the titania was known by TGA. Adding titania could increase the thermal stability of polyaniline from the experiment of thermal stability. It was indicated that the aging effect was related to diffusion. The sensing of the film could not be understood because of too high volume fraction of PVA.
