Abstract
With the advanced informational technology and the popularity of the Internet, many business activities can be carried out on the Internet. Without time and space constraints, costs of providing internet business can be reduced. Internet allows a person who wants to start a business and has no large funds to make business with more choices and opportunities. In this study, fuzzy Delphi method and analytic network process (ANP) are applied to identify key success factors for microbusinesses. Fuzzy Delphi method, which can lead to better criteria selection, is used to filter the key factors from previous studies to construct the hierarchy. Considering the interdependence among the key success factors, ANP is then used to identify key success factors more effectively. After interviewing 70 senior executives, we retain 12 key success factors. We categorize these 12 key success factors into 3 perspectives to construct the hierarchy. After applying the analytic network process, we obtain the relative weights of these 12 key success factors. The ranking of these 12 key success factors is: understand consumers’ needs, reputation of website, professional knowledge, innovation, stickiness of consumers, unique product and service, security, protect personal information, complete information of product and service, response, attitude, stress.
