Abstract
The target of the research was to synthesize and
characterize polyaniline/polyurethane copolymers and
semi-interpenetrating polymer networks(semi-IPNs) based on
copolymers. Polyaniline/polyurethane copolymers and
semi-IPNs were investigated into nanostructure, themal analysis,
mechanical properties and the mechanisms of gas separation.
Polyaniline/polyurethane copolymers are composed of soft
segmental structure from polyol, hard segmental structure from
isocynate and amine-terminated oligomeric polyaniline of
various segmental chains as chain extenders. The repeated units
of aniline in oligomeric polyaniline is between 3 to 10.
Oligomeric polyaniline dopped with protonated acid was to
investigate the effects on conductivity of various segmental chains in the copolymers and semi-IPNs. The nanostructure of polyaniline/polyurethane
copolymers are characterized by NMR, TEM , SEM and AFM ;
The thermal analysis of the copolymers include LT-MDSC and
TGA ; The mechanical properties of the copolymers include
tensile strength, etc.;The mixing gases for gas separation included the pairs of CO2/CH4 and O2/N2. The characteristics of membrane separation mainly include gas permeability, gas selectivity, diffusion coefficient and solubility of gases. Therefore,by integrating all the research results, the
effects of the nanostructures on the conductivity and the
characteristics of membrane separation were investigated completely.
